Embassy of the Republic of Malawi in the United States , Tue, Nov 28, 2017

The Embassy has received a request to assist in identification of a Chichewa tutor for an undergraduate student .

Michela Del Mastro is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who is currently planning a year-long research project in Malawi for one year from July 2018 to July 2019. Michela will be in Washington DC from January to May 2018 and is looking for a Chichewa tutor who would be available for two to three times a week for the time she will be in Washington DC.

She will be conducting ethnographic research in the Central Region. In particular, she will be in Lilongwe and possibly Kasungu, Balaka, Dedza, and Dowa. The research is expected to be intense as such she needs someone with a good understanding of the language. She is ready to pay the tutor a reasonable rate calculated per hour.

If interested to hear more from Michela, please send your details to malawidc@aol.com with a title “Chichewa Tutor for Michela” by 6th December 2017.
