20/08/2015: Join Us for the Tri Malawi Team Challenge! Sun., Sept. 13, 2015

Sunday, September 13, 2015 at West Potomac Park, Washington, D.C.

What is the Tri for Malawi Team Challenge? The Tri for Malawi Team Challenge is an annual AGE Africa fundraising initiative that promotes awareness and provides a creative opportunity to get involved and support girls’ education in Malawi. Tri for Malawi Team members pledge to raise between $500 and $30,000+ individually for a total of $150,000 to support scholarships for AGE Africa’s scholars. Each year, the Ambassador from the Republic of Malawi to the United States, and the Embassy of Malawi joins fifty athletes to honor our girls who walk a triathlon-sized distance every week just to attend school.

How Does the Tri for Malawi Team Challenge Help? The Tri for Malawi Team Challenge raises scholarship funds to support disadvantaged and vulnerable young women at ten Malawian public high schools and three colleges and universities. AGE Africa scholarships are life changing. In addition to tuition, AGE scholarships include year-round leadership training, academic support, career counseling, mentoring; and graduates continue to receive support through our Tertiary Transitions Program. In 2015, the Tri for Malawi team will compete to raise funds so that 190 young women can continue their educations!
